Charles Edward "Brother" Coley, 68, of Alicia, formerly of Lepanto, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born March 9, 1939, at Lee County, Miss. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Neal Chapel Church in Bondsville. He was a Mason and a truck driver for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Pete" Coley and Jewell Bryant, and a brother, Michael Coley.

He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Carr of Alicia; a son, Charles Douglas Coley of Hoxie; a sister, Norman Jean Anderson of Hatcher, Conn.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Neal Chapel Church in Bondsville with his nephew, Trey Adams, officiating. Burial was in Potter Cemetery in Lepanto under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
