Lester McCorkle, 65, of Tyronza died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, in Tyronza. He was a retired self-employed heavy equipment operator and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Richards McCorkle of Tyronza; a daughter, Terrie Teague of Marked Tree; a son, Jeff McCorkle of Black Oak; his mother, Hazel Ingle McCorkle of Tyronza; four sisters, Wonza Fritz and Martha Bells, both of Trumann, and Pat Daniels and Joyce Wilson, both of Black Oak; two brothers, Larry McCorkle of Black Oak and Ronald McCorkle of Marion; and five grandchildren.

Services wee 2 p.m. Saturday in Roller-Citizens chapel at West Memphis with interment in Tyronza Cemetery.
