Jimmy Don Decker, Sr., 64, of South Haven, Mich., died Aug. 10, 2007, in Kalamazoo, Mich. He was born July 9, 1943, in Leachville to Cordis and Fanny (Baker) Decker. Mr. Decker worked as a forklift driver for Michigan Fruit Canners and Campbell Soup Factory. He loved to fish and tinker on cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Fred Hauri; a daughter, Frances Klock; two sisters, Mary Ruth and Ruby; and two brothers, Jerry and Riley.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Hauri (Stroebel); children, Leann (Rob) Eisner of Lacota, Mich., Jody (Buddy) Levora of Bangor, Mich., Verna James of South Haven, Mich., Jimmy Decker, Jr. of South Haven, Mich., Cordis (Tracy) Decker of Pullman, Mich., and Jimmy Decker, Jr. and Carolyn Simpson of Popular Bluff, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin Eugene (Helen) Decker of South Haven and Robin Decker of Manila; three sisters, Lovie (Don) Warlick of Holland, Mich., Sue Lester of Manila, and Brenda (George) Bratton of Atkins.

Visitation was Thursday at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Michael Holt officiating. Burial was at the Stephenson Cemetery.
