Imogene Caldwell Nettles, 8, of Monette died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Monette Manor. She was born July 11, 117, in Monette to James and Ora Smith Caldwell. On Oct. 4, 1933, she married William Glenn Nettles in Monette.

She was a lifetime resident of Monette and a longtime member of Monette Assembly of God. She was a homemaker, worked at the Monette School lunchroom and Lane's Nursing Home of Caraway and Monette.

She is survived by two sons and their wives, Jimmie and Donna Nettles of Gideon, Mo., and Glenville and Judy nettles of Monette; a daughter-in-law, Pat Nettles of Arnold, Mo.; grandsons and their wives, Jimmie and Carla Nettles, Jr. of North Little Rock, Mark and Cindy Nettles of Chesterfield, Mo., David Nettles of Arnold, Michael and Leisa Nettles and Bobby and Patti Nettles, all of Monette; a granddaughter and her husband, Donnett and Mark Pepper of Gideon; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Nettles; a son, Reylon Nettles; her parents, James and Ora Smith Caldwell; a brother, J.C. Caldwell; and two sisters, Myrtle Mae Stone and Evelyn Stone.

Pallbearers were her grandsons and great-grandsons.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with rev. Terry Miller officiating. Burial was in Monette Memorial Cemetery.
