Jonesboro

Edna Pearl Gatlin, 71, of Jonesboro died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born in Lake City, was the retired co-owner of Gatlin Auto Service and was a member of the Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, Wesley Gatlin of the home; two daughters, Deborah Barber and Lana Lovins, both of Jonesboro; two brothers, James Stewart of Lake City and Richard Stewart of Jonesboro; a sister, Lillian Butler of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Joshua L. Barber, Lindsay Quintana, Leif Lovins and Lacey Lovins, all of Jonesboro; and three great-grandchildren, Natalie Quintana, Bryan Martinez and Brayden Barber, all of Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott and Mary Bell Stewart; and a sister, Mildred Stewart.

Pallbearers will include Leif Lovins, Joshua L. Barber, Terry Simmons, James Stewart, Barry Holden, Randy Blancett and Vernon Henson. Honorary pallbearers will be Lloyd Somers and Richard Stewart.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Roller-Farmers Union Chapel. Jerry Thompson and Joey Rupard will officiate. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park.
