Della Mae Knott Cosbey, 73, of Manila died March 15, 2007, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. She was born Oct. 12, 1933, at Kennon, Tenn., the daughter of the late William and Mary Scott Knott. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She married U.L. Cosbey March 31, 1948 in Piggott.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Ray Cosbey and Jerry Wayne Cosbey; a son-in-law, Truman Pearson; a sister, Shirley Dodson; and a brother, Ansel Knott.

She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Ann Pearson and husband, Bill, of Manito, Ill., Sandra Pearson of Manila, and Linda Hoskins and husband, Danny, of Blytheville; a son, Danny Cosbey and wife, Beverly, of Jonesboro; a sister, Roberta Cowls and husband, James, of Pine Harbor, Texas; two brothers, Junior Knott of Pine Harbor, Texas, and W.J. Knott of Brownsville, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with Brother Matt O'Neal officiating. Burial was in Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
