James "Gypsy" Ridge

James "Gypsy" Ridge, 55, of Lake City died Monday, March 12, 2007, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Flint, Mich., he lived in Lake City since 1995. He was a factory worker for Express Personnel in Jonesboro and a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman C. Ridge Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Ridge of Los Angeles; brother, Herman C. Ridge Jr. and wife, Anita, of Lake City; mother, Pauline Ridge and sister, Ella Losli, both of Henderson, Nev.

A memorial serivce was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lake City Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.
