Ruby Lee Garey, 78, formerly of Dyess, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at her home in Caraway. Born in Grandglaze on July 30, 1928, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Elmo Garey, her parents, Ned and Elsie Teeple, a sister, Beth McFactridge, and a brother, Ned Maxie Teeple.

Survivors include a son, Danny Garey, of West Memphis; three daughters, Elsie Lewellen of Keiser, Myra Hall of Tyronza, and Teresa Blagg of Caraway; two grandchildren, Lee Ann Cook of Caraway and Jennifer Hall of Jonesboro; and two great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Cook and Ali Towels of Caraway.

A celebration of her life was held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion.
