Paragould

Linnie Marie Jackson, 95, of Paragould, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Born Nov. 15, 1911, in Gibson, Mo., Mrs. Jackson retired as a dietary worker from Arkansas Methodist Medical Center and then worked for the Red Cross. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Debbie Jackson, of Lexington, Tenn.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Zetta and Bobby White of Manila and Deanna and Harold Clayton of Paragould; three brothers, Harold Caldwell and Clinton Caldwell, both of Flint, Mich., Kenneth Caldwell of Gibson, Mo.; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, George and Cora Caldwell; her husband, K.S. Jackson; a brother and two sisters.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould with Sam Leslie, Jackie Fulton, and Tommy Clayton officiating. Burial was in the Dunklin Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
