Pearl Biggers

Jonesboro

He was born on June 12, 1915, at Williford. She moved to the Black Oak area as a young girl and lived in Jonesboro for the past 46 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Nettleton Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnis Biggers; her parents, Perry and Della Fletcher Penter; two sisters, Margie Caroline Lea and Myrtle Lois Mitchell; and a brother, Homer Penter.

She is survived by a son, Harold Biggers, and wife, June, of El Dorado; three grandchildren, Terry Biggers, Howard Biggers and Sandra Evans; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, George Penter, and wife, Pauline; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Gregg Funeral Home chapel with Jimmy Young officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.
