Monette

Troy Wayne Guiltner, 62, of Monette, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born in Monette on Aug. 16, 1944, he had lived in Monette all of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired cotton ginner from the Monette Co-op Gin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Ethyl Guiltner; one brother, Paul Guiltner; two sisters, Irene Hutcheson and Alberta Stone.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Guiltner of the home; four sons, Michael Guiltner, Terry Guiltner and Kevin Guiltner, all of Monette, Justin Guiltner of Black Oak; three sisters, Lois Hutcheson and "Tiny" Throgmartin,

both of Lake City, and Willie Holbrooke of Utah; one brother, Otis Guiltner of Monette; and five grandchildren, Andrew Guiltner, Miranda Guiltner, Zachary Guiltner, Kennedy Guiltner and Joshua Guiltner.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Terry Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Macey Cemetery.

Honored to serve as active pallbearers are Larry Stone, Harold Hutcheson, Tim Hutcheson, Donny Hutcheson, Jerry Hutcheson, Bill Stone. Honorary pallbearers are David Throgmartin, Doug Stone and Norman Wheeler.
