Katheryne Marie Nees, 53, of Senath, Mo., formerly of Hoxie, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2006, in Twin Rivers Medial Center in Kennett, Mo.

She was born on Aug. 14, 1953, at Oklahoma City, the daughter of the late William and Rosetta Pickett Nees. She was disabled. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two brothers, Leonard Needs of Hoxie and William Nees of Valdosta, Ga.

The body was cremated. Arrangements were under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Services at Walnut Ridge.
