Milford Lee "M.L." Cox, 75, of Paragould died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006. He was born on July 6, 1931, in Conway. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shade and Mary Jane Cox; brothers, James and Lonnie Cox; and sister, Marie Bidwell.

Survivors include his wife, Flossie Cox of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Tammy Cox of Leachville, Tommy and Loretta Cox of Paragould and David and Glenda Cox of Mountain Home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Ray Gessner of Mountain Home, Betty and Ronnie Crossno and Brenda and Dean Carlton, all of Paragould; a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Wanda Cox of Searcy; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Phillips Funeral Home Center Hill Chapel with Rev. Royce Boling officiating. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery in Paragould.

Pallbearers will be Michael Cox, Jeremy Cox, Gene Howe, Eric Crossno, David Cox and Barry Spence.

Honorary pallbearers include Bill Fortenberry, Benny Cox, Gary Whitney and Mike Huffman.
