Linnie James - St. Louis

Linnie James, 92, died March 20, 2006. A resident of St. Louis, Mo., and former long-time Manila resident, she was a member of the Bayless Baptist Church.

Relatives include brothers, the late Roy Patterson and Jake Patterson of Florida; son, the late Bill James of Bowling Green, Ky.; daughter-in-law Pearl of Warrington, Mo., daughter, Rena Crites of St. Louis, Mo., son, Eddie James of Hardy; daughter, Peggy Putney of Arnold, Mo.; grandchildren, Mark, Craig, Christopher, Matthew, Stacie, Mike, Rickie and Cheryl; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:30 Wednesday in Cobb Funeral Home chapel in Blytheville with Rev. Ray Dill officiating. Burial will be in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the funeral home.
