Elvin Casey - Brookland

Elvin Casey, 66, of Brookland died Monday, March 6, 2005, at his home. Born in Monette, he had lived most of his life in the Jonesboro-Brookland area. He owned and operated Casey Roofing Company for several years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Casey, and his mother, Martha Stewart Casey.

Survivors include his wife, Etta Jean Casey of the home; two sons, Phillip Casey of Horseshoe Bend and Daniel Casey of Paragould; two daughters, Denise Correa of Harrisburg and Melissa Casey of Brookland; a brother, Michael Casey of Lake City; four sisters, Mary Dennison of California; Marie Bernard of Vilonia, Louise Carter of Conway and Lorene Richie of Bay; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dewayne Reeves officiating. Burial was private.
