Bernard Bryce Milligan - Lake City

Bernard Bryce Milligan, 48, of Lake City, formerly of Leachville, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at The Med in Memphis. Born at Jonesboro, he was the son of the late Bernard and Millidine Fortenberry Milligan and was a lifelong resident of this area. He was a 1975 graduate of Leachville High School and was a Baptist.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Chanda Milligan of Paragould and Chad and Terra Milligan of Harrison; a brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Tammy Milligan, of Monette; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Suzanne and Gary Griffin of Flippin, and Beth and Danny Qualls of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren, Anna Milligan, Karsyn Milligan, Katelyn Milligan, Emily Riggs, Taylor Riggs, Dalton Phillips and Bradyn Milligan; four nieces and six nephews.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Larry Ward officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jerry Wayne Milligan, Jr., John Milligan, Justin Milligan, Andy Milligan, Matt Milligan and Max Rapert. Honorary pallbearers were Allen Fortenberry, Leo Fortenberry, Jerry Milligan, Sr., Major Milligan, Lee Reece, Gary Griffin and Danny Qualls.
