David Joe Wright - Little Rock

David Joe Wright, 62, of Little Rock, died Feb. 25, 2006. He was born on May 1, 1943 in Blytheville, the son of the late David Crockett Wright and Evelyn Horner Wright. He was a member of Highland Valley United Methodist Church. David was a retired stockbroker, educator and coach. He coached both high school football and basketball. While coaching in Dallas, Texas, several of his basketball teams won the Texas State Championship. He was an avid Razorback fan and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patty Lynn Flannigan, of Manila.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Studstill Wright; daughters, Traci Hesley, and her husband, Richard, and Jann Bridgers, and her husband, Brad; sister, Judith Wright Davis; grandchildren, Rachael Hesley, Tyler Hesley and Caroline Bridgers; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Feb. 28, in the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kurt Boggan officiating. Internment was in the Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
