Eva Dee Blocker - Leachville

Eva Dee Blocker, 91, of Leachville, the widow of Jack Blocker, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at her home. Born at Hollywood, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bessie Kinchen Coburn and had been a Leachville resident for most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of the Leachville Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, James Blocker of Rineyville, Ky., and Don Blocker of Mt. Ida; four daughters, Edith Wachter of Huntsville, Ala., Wanda Burgin of Perryville, Carolyn Klucke of Woodriver, Ill., and Darlene Hetler of Leachville; a sister, Eula Defries of Benton Harbor, Mich.; and 25 grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with David Lawrence officiating. Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery near Hollywood.
