Marvin McCoy - Lake City

Marvin McCoy, 77, of Lake City died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, at NEA Medical Center. Born at Rienzi, Miss., he lived in Lake City for 18 years and was formerly of Fouke. He was a general laborer for Anheuser-Busch.

Survivors include a son, Marvin Lee McCoy, of Texarkana; a daughter, Pam McCoy of Lake City; a sister, Willard Davis of Lake City; three grandchildren, Lee McCoy and Stacy Miller, both of Texarkana, and Mike McCoy of Lake City; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Mae Hogan McCoy; his parents, J.C. and Bessie Fulks McCoy; two brothers; and two sisters.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nettleton Cemetery with Rev. Jim Rupard officiating.

Pallbearers were randy Rupard, Brock Coggins, Bobby Fly, Chris Davis, Heath Miller and Rod Carmack.

Honorary pallbearers included employees of Anheuser-Busch.

Arrangements were under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
