Emma Jean Brannum - Ash Flat

Emma Jean Brannum, 88, of Ash Flat, formerly of Leachville, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Eaglecrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Wynne, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Artie Smooth Lawrence and had been a longtime Leachville resident before making her home in Ash Flat 17 years ago. She was the widow of Warlick "Bud" Brannum and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a brother, Claude David Roper, of Ash Flat.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the LuLu Cemetery near Senath with Rev. Russell Rhodes officiating. Services are under the direction of Howard Funeral service of Leachville.

The family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. today at the funeral home in Leachville.
