Jonesboro

C.C. "Pete" Beasley, 81, of Jonesboro died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at his residence. He had lived in Jonesboro for the past 30 years, moving to the city from Prattville, Ala. Beasley was a World War II Army veteran and a retired salesman for W&A Manufacturing Co. in Pine Bluff. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Beasley of the home; two sons, Patrick Beasley of Atlanta and Mike Beasley of Manassas, Vir.; a daughter, Tammie Kirkendoll of Lake City; and five grandchildren, Melissa Dulaney, Grant Beasley, Whitney Beasley, Matt Kirkendoll and Emily Kirkendoll.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.B. and Blanch Baker Beasley, and two sisters,

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) in Sylvania Cemetery in Lonoke County. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
