Neta Belle Snow - Leachville

Neta Belle Snow, 95, of Leachville, widow of Lynn F. Snow, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, at Monette Manor Nursing Home. Born at Pocahontas, she was the daughter of Tom and Gussie Elliott and had been a Leachville resident for the past 70 years. She was a former long time employee of the Haney-Guthrie Drug Store in Leachville and was a member of the Extension Homemakers Club. Mrs. Snow was a member, for 48 years, of First United Methodist Church and the Ruth Bible Class.

She is survived by three daughters, Nona Rogers and Janet Taylor, both of Leachville, and Betty Kinsolving of Gideon, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Vida Gardner and Birdie Sykes.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Friday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Donnie Hudson officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rev. Jim Eastin, Kirk Eastin, Duke Eastin, Charlie Rogers, Brian Davis and Kevin Davis.

Honorary pallbearers were Wilburn Lovelady, Pete Dortch, Joe Wheeler, Paul Wildy, James Keith and the Ruth Bible Class.
