Kathleen "Granny" Edmondson - Caraway

Kathleen "Granny" Edmondson, 78, of Caraway, died Aug. 12, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist belief, and had lived in the Black Oak and Caraway area a lifetime.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Johnston, of Stafford, Texas; a son, Freddie Pearson, of Mountain Home; two daughters, Charlotte Wood and Janie Minton, both of Caraway; a nephew, Billy Johnston; a niece Judy Odle; eight grandchildren, Barbara Weathers, Candice Rowell, Brandon Wood, Brian Minton, Peggy Pearson, Laura Quinn, Kim Kluge, Jamie Leonard; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Tipp and Helen Pearson, a brother, Jimmy Pearson, and a grandson, Freddie Pearson, Jr.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Pastor Greg Ford officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Active pallbearers were Cody Weathers, Caleb Weathers, Brandon Wood, Kenny Weathers, Billy Johnston and Jon Rowell.

Honorary pallbearers were Brian Minton, Hunter Miller, Clayton Miller, Jerry Wayne Nall, Christopher Earnhart, Kris Kelton, Kyle Jeffers, and Cade Couch.
