Paragould

Bruce Macon Faulkner, 99, of Paragould, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Born at Stanford, he served in the Army in the South Pacific during World War II, was a former teacher in Stanford and had worked as a barber. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Bob Faulkner of Paragould; a brother, Hulen Faulkner of Memphis; a sister, Weldon Tillman of Paragould; a granddaughter, Dr. Lisa Hendrix of Paragould; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Alice Batey Faulkner; two sisters, three brothers, and a grandson.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Heath Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Scudder officiating. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery in Paragould

Pallbearers were Bob Jackson, David Tillman, Ronnie Pigue, Steve Keuter, Alvin Arnold and Tommy Arnold.
