Cora Mae Maness Hardy, 67, of Savannah, Tenn., formerly of Trumann, died Aug. 24, 2004, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

She was born Dec. 28, 1936, at Walnut Ridge. She was a retired cook and of the Church of God faith.

She is survived by four daughters, Lela Guthrie of Adamsville, Tenn., Sharon Cooksey of Enid, Miss., Lisa Stone of Trumann, and Patricia Britt of Crump, Tenn.; three sons, Jerry Maness of Manila, Harold Maness of Lake City, and Terry Maness of Trumann; two sisters, Lillie Mae Bishop of Dover, and Loraine White of Casea; a brother, Don Black of Paragould; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Maness.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza, with Brother Lynn Vincent officiating. Burial was in Nichols Cemetery in Marked Tree under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
