Terry Dean Modesitt - Manila

Terry Dean Modesitt, 37, of Manila, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born at Osceola, he was the son of the late Paul Modesitt and had been a lifelong Manila area resident. He was employed as a truck driver for Lee Trucking of Stuttgart, and attended Souls Harbor Pentecostal Holiness Church in Manila.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Parsley Modesitt, of Manila; a brother, Gary Modesitt of Cherokee Village; two sisters, Sherry Scroggins and Joni Isabell, both of Manila; and four nephews and five nieces.

In addition to his father, hew as preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Franklin Modesitt, and his maternal grandparents, R.C. and Louise Parsley.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. Glenda Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Ricky Martin, Colt Parsley, John Parsley, Jr. Rick Hampton, Jason Eddings and P.K. Rabey.
