Connie Mae Holt - Blytheville

Connie Mae Holt, 72, of Blytheville, died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at the residence of her son in Blytheville.

Born Jan. 14, 1932, in West Ridge, she was the daughter of Henry R. and Zola McCrackin Moran. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a retired factory worker.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Gayle Holt of Blytheville; a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Larry Haynes of Shelbyville, Tenn.; a brother, Raymond Morgan of Elaine; three sisters, Maxine Bates of Harrisburg, Bernice Rice and Juanita Davidson, both of Manila; four grandchildren, Dwain Beard of Dell, Angel Benefield of Blytheville, Chris Haynes and Clinton Haynes, both of Shelbyville, Tenn.; and six great-grandchildren, Blake Haynes of Shelbyville and Matthew Beard, Jordyn Benefield, Alyssa Benefield, Devin Beard, and Austin Beard, all of Blytheville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Jesse James Holt, in 1981.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Rev. Mitchell King, Jr. officiating. Burial was in Dogwood Cemetery.
