Pauline Frisbee Holmes - Monette

Pauline Frisbee Holmes, 87, of Monette died Friday, March 5, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Lawrence County, she had lived at Monette for seven years, formerly of Garland, Texas, and Antioch, Calif. She was a retired sales clerk for Montgomery Ward Co. in Dallas, Texas. She was a Baptist.

She is survived by a sister, Juanita Clements of Imboden; a granddaughter, Teresa Seay of Corpus Christi, Texas; three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorr Holmes, two sons, Rolland Holmes and Darrel Holmes; her parents, Cleo and Lora Patterson Frisbee; a brother and three sisters.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7, at Friendship Cemetery near Imboden with Rev. Jerry Clements officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
