Leonard Junior Elder - Caraway

Leonard Junior Elder, 76, of Caraway died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville. He was a Baptist and a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Florence Elder of Caraway; three sons, Johnny D. Elder of Bartlett, Tenn., Ronnie D. Elder of Marked Tree and Roy Pretty of Trumann; a daughter, Sara Pretty of Wynne; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Lepanto, with Chad Stoddard officiating. Burial was in Potter Memorial Cemetery at Lepanto.

Active pallbearers were Danny Hooker, James Hooker, Donald Hooker, Jackie Richardson, Gary Mary and Freddie May.

Honorary pallbearers were Leroy May, Jerry Lowery, Corky Richardson, Roy Pretty, Seth Elder and Richie Elder.

The family requests anyone wishing to leave a lasting memorial consider the Alzheimer's Foundation of Arkansas.
