Billy Mack Johnson - Paragould

Billy Mack Johnson, 71, of Paragould died Tuesday, July 15, 2003. Born in Leachville, he was a veteran of the Korean War, a former assistant cashier at First National Bank of Commerce and was owner, operator and salesman at Lamb Auto Sales. He was a member of Seventh and Mueller Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Pansy Johnson of the home; a son, Ted Johnson of Leachville; a daughter, Debra Mosley of North Little Rock; two sisters, Betty Buck of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and LeFetra Galyean of Knoxville, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Kyle Mosley of North Little Rock and Ashley Johnson of Leachville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Lola Bishop Johnson, and two brothers.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Heath Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Art Smith officiating. Burial was in Greene county Memorial Gardens in Paragould.

Active pallbearers were Charles Noel, Joe Vangilder, Don Carlisle, Ray Smith, J.R. Palmer and James Balcolm.

Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Cook, Terry Lenderman, Bobby Markum, Dale Tipton, Archie Johnson, Archie Eason and Steve Knight.
