Lillie Lee Sharp - Leachville

Lillie Lee Sharp, 82, of Leachville, widow of J.W. Sharp, died Monday, June 2, 2003, at St. Anthony Hospital in Morrilton. Born at Buffalo, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle Hancock Gidcomb and had lived most of her life in Leachville. She was a retired school teacher having taught for 33 years in the Leachville School District. She was a member of the Leachville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Joe Sharp of Bartlett, Tenn.; two daughters, Cherie Ressler of Jacksonville, Fla., and Gina Koone of Morrilton; a sister, Lola Brown of Monette; and seven grandchildren, Brian Glass, Jason Sharp, Amanda Koone, Rebeckah Koone, Chris Koone, Dane Sharp and Julie Sharp.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Applegate officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville. The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 6-8:30.
