Floyd Pollard - Caraway

Floyd Pollard, 65, of Caraway died Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at his home. Born at Caraway, he was a retired truck driver and a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Caraway.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Pollard of Caraway; six sons, Billy Pollard and Joey Pollard, both of Caraway, Bobby Pollard of Evening Shade, Randy Pollard of Kilgore, Texas, Earnest Pollard of Linn, Mo., and Teddy Pollard of Hot Springs; six daughters, Rosetta Fagan of Trumann, Janet Calvert, Cynthia Pollard and Julia Barrett, all of Caraway, Mechelle Weyer of Paragould and Tammy Walsh of Manila; a brother, Lloyd Pollard of Bay; a sister, Susie Lewis of Muldrow, Okla.; 32 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday at New Hope Baptist Church with Rick Stevens officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza.

David Calvert, Gaylon Barrett, Barry Weyer, Mark Pollard, Jay Pollard, Jay Calvert and Jason Fagan served as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers included Tob Brewer, W.L. Cornwell, Fred Couch, Terry Couch, Dewayne Couch and J.L. Shortancy.
