Wanda Lee Epperson - Manila

Wanda Lee Epperson, 72, of Manila, widow of Frank Epperson, died Monday, May 12, 2003, at Manila Nursing Center. Born Oct. 17, 1930, in Walnut Ridge, the daughter of Homer and Effie Lee Robbins Dorris, she was a lifelong area resident and affiliated with the Baptist faith. She devoted her life to caring for her home and family.

She is survived by a daughter, Anna Maria Minnick of Logansport, Ind.; a son, Charles E. Siracusa, also of Logansport; two brothers, Sanford Dorris of Steele and Edward Dorris of Bono; a sister, Ole May McClish of Manila; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Dorris.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
