Jean K. Coward - Jonesboro

Jean K. Coward, 58, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at her residence. She was born Dec. 26, 1944, at Jonesboro. She had lived most of her life in Jonesboro and was a 1963 graduate of Valley View. She also graduated from Arkansas State University at Marked Tree. She was employed at Lincoln for 15 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Shannon Gallion of Italy and Karen Price of Cash; her mother, Blanche Collins, of Black Oak; four sisters, Linda Qualls of Black Oak, Lynette Adams of Jonesboro, Rita French of Jonesboro and Lita French of Jonesboro; and four grandchildren, Jon Gallion, Elizabeth Gallion, Madison Price and Sarah Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Collins, and a sister, Bobbie Rae Rorex.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Wynndel King officiating. Interment was in McDaniel Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Randall Ryan, Gary French, Billy Pierce, Mark French, Mike French and Mike Beeler.
