Dessie McClung - Lake City

Dessie McClung, 80, of Lake City died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at her residence. Born in Searcy, she was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God in Lake City.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy McClung of Jonesboro; two daughters, Maxine Bullock and Roberta Hotchkiss, both of Lake City; three sisters, Lois Despain of Trumann, Joyce Fletcher of Lake City and Mae Despain of Bay; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell McClung, and a daughter, Linda Hoskins.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Langford's Funeral Service chapel in Jonesboro with the Rev. Raymond Clark officiating. Burial was in Lake City Cemetery.
