Donna V. Mahan - Dell

Donna V. Mahan, 73, of Dell, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at her home. Born in Benton Harbor, Mich., she moved to Northeast Arkansas in 1970. She was a certified substance abuse counselor who retired after 20 years of service with Crowley's Ridge Development Council. She was a volunteer worker for the American Red Cross and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder and treasurer of a women's group.

Survivors include her husband, Louis G. Mahan of the home; four sons, Ronald A. Wilcoxson of Coloma, Mich., Mike Wilcoxson of Milwaukee, Wis., Greg A. Martin of Breedsville, Mich., and Stephen T. Martin of Mississippi; four daughters, Joyce M. Prim of Southaven, Miss., Sherri L. Hammond of Tampa, Fla., Donna K. Walker of St. Peters, Mo., and Rachel A. Martin of Bangor, Mich.; two stepsons, Troy Mahan and Carl Mahan, both of Louisiana; a stepdaughter, Darlene Patrick of Mississippi; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons; a grandchild; and two sisters.

The funeral was held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville with Rev. Thad Grimstead officiating. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery.
