Clara Stone Branch - Granite City, Ill.

Clara Stone Branch, 77, of Granite City, Ill., died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at her home. Born at St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Stone and was a former long-time Manila resident.

She is survived by her daughters, June McCallie of granite City, Ill., Nancy Hultz of Alton, Ill., and Neva Laster of Hickman, Ky.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ellie Bollinger and her brothers, Bennie, Theodore and Lloyd Stone.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with burial in the Manila Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
