Donnie Vestle Gibbs - Cardwell

Donnie Vestle Gibbs, 86, of Cardwell, widow of Rufus Gibbs, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at her home. Born at Williford, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha Myers Booth and was a long-time Cardwell resident. She was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Full Gospel Church.

She is survived by two brothers, Albert of Pontiac, Mich., and Forrest Booth of Kentucky; three sisters, Irene Henderson of Anderson, Ind., Thelma Thomas of Senath, and Burlene Groves of Hardy.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, three sisters and two brothers.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Brian Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery.
