Eula Mae McGrew - Manila

Eula Mae McGrew, 94, of Manila, the widow of William Harrison McGrew, died Thursday, April 25, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Grubbs, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Mayben and had been a Manila resident since 1947. She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Dale McGrew and Jerry McGrew, both of Manila; three daughters, Carol Yarbro, Linda Crouse and Laverne Shipley, all of Manila; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sons, a daughter, a grandson, two sisters and two brothers.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manial with Rev. Marty Hopkins officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.

Grandsons David McGrew, Bill Yarbro, Darrell McGrew, Chris George, Chuck Shipley and Jason Yarbro will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers include Brandon Bryant, John Braun and Joey Shipley.
