Ailine Knight - Lake City

Ailine Knight, 99, of Lake City died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born in Kentucky, she had lived in the Lunsford area most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Lunsford Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, James Robert Reeves, of Bay; two daughters, Doris Moss of Bay and Evelyn Hale of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren, Sue Armstrong, Jane Griffin, Judy King and Terry Hale, all of Jonesboro, Ann York of Cherokee Village, Jimmy Moss of Trumann, Jerry "Cotton" Moss of Bay, Ken Moss of Walnut Ridge and Greg Moss of Portia; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ott Knight, three brothers and a grandson.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Joel McMasters and Woodrow Wilson officiating. Burial was at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Greg Moss, jerry "Cotton" Moss, Ken Moss, Jimmy Moss, Terry Hale and Steve griffin.

Honorary pallbearers were Dewayne Merritt, Cody Wooldridge, Chris Moss, Michael Merritt and Chad Moss.
