Myrtle Irene Kendall - Monette

Myrtle Irene Kendall, 92, of Monette, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at St. Bernards medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker, member of Monette United Methodist Church. She had lived in the Monette area most of her life.

She is survived by a son, Rayburn Kendall of Paragould; three daughters, Sheila Ashabranner of Moentte, Beutonne Berry of Mesquite, Texas, and Jeane Tomasiewicz of Galstonbury, Conn.; 12 grandchidlren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Mary Thomas, her husband, Robert Sidney Kendall, and six sisters, four brothers, and two grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Monday, at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Everett Isom officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge.

Pallbearers were R.E. Bud Cannon, Sonny Wimberly, Gene Gathright, Jodie Brown, Jim Jones and Russell Strickland.
