Mary Lou Marshall - Jonesboro

Mary Lou Marshall, 91, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at her home. She was a homemaker, member of Caraway First Baptist Church and had lived in Jonesboro one year. She was formerly of Caraway.

Survivors include a daughter, Pat Jackson of Jonesboro; two sons, Wayne Marshall of Manila and Bud Marshall of Jonesboro; a sister, Clodine Saylor of Paragould; a brother, Owen Hoskins, Jr., of Paragould; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Audrey Marshall, her parents, O.W. and Sudie Hoskins, a brother, Charles Hoskins, and a great-great-grandchild, Terrance Wallace.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Waymon Holt officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge.

Grandsons served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Lynn Haag, Don Staggs, Charles Brickell, Larry Barrett, Dr. Jeffery Cohen, Dr. Steve Blanchard and Vernon Dowless.
