On Sept. 24, at approximately 11:45 a.m., three male subjects were rescued from the Mississippi River, according to Mississippi County Sheriff Dale Cook. "These individuals were on a canoe expedition and stopped for the night," Cook said. "The next morning, they realized two of their canoes were missing.
