James Wayne Walker, 79, of Senath, passed from this life Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, at his home. Born in Melrose Park, Ill., he was the son of the late William and Mildred Seegras Walker and had been a longtime resident of Southeast Missouri. He was retired from the LA Darling Company in Paragould with 32 years in the maintenance department. He was also the owner operator of Walker Bail Bonds in Kennett for over 28 years. ...

Barbara “Barbie” McCormick, 42, of Blytheville, passed from this life on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, near Lepanto. Barbie was a graduate of the Arkansas Northeastern College LPN program. A previous nurse with the Gosnell Nursing Center, Barbara had just started work as a nurse at the Federal Corrections Institute. ...
