The Gosnell School Board hired Wynne assistant head coach Lewis Earnest as the new Pirate head football coach on Monday evening. Earnest replaces Coach Brandon Barbaree who recently left GHS to become the head coach at Fountain Lake. Earnest is the assistant head football coach and offensive coordinator at Wynne. He also served as defensive coordinator during his time at the school, which began in 2016. During that time, Wynne had the number one scoring defense in Class 5A in 2016 and 2017...
