    The Blytheville Police Department is warning the public of a phone scam. Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson said the Blytheville Police Department phone number has been used in an automated call system. He said callers may receive a call from the BPD number (870-763-4411) stating a family member has been hurt or in jail and prompting them to send money.
