Dixie Pig, Kream Kastle nominated for Hall of Fame

LITTLE ROCK — Finalists have been announced for the 2018 class of the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame, and two local restaurants made the cut. Dixie Pig and Kream Kastle are both finalists for the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame. Polar Plunge set for Saturday

The Police and Fire Committee moved forward with the justice complex project Monday by selecting four construction companies to interview for the position of a construction manager. Using a point-based system that was drawn up by Architect Todd Welch (which included points for experience as a construction manager, demonstration of similar projects, staff resources, demonstration of project cost containment, company location and experience working in Blytheville) the committee decided to move forward with Tate General Contractors, Baldwin and Shell Construction Company, Construction Network Inc. ...

An all too common rebuttal to CN editorials (and even some news articles) is to not even attempt to refute what is said, but simply brand the piece as “negative.” I’ve seen examples of this on websites and various social media platforms and I’d like to take an opportunity to address it...
