  • * UPDATE: Fire on Delmar leaves one person dead (Local News ~ 03/12/17)
    According to Blytheville Fire Chief Mike Carney, at 7:09 a.m. Sunday morning the Blytheville Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 805 Delmar Street that resulted in one fatality. When crews arrived on the scene they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of the structure. Upon entry, a female victim, identified as 26 year old Quanita Thomas, was located and removed from the structure. She was later pronounced dead on the scene...
