The historic Ritz Theater at 306 W. Main in downtown Blytheville will once again experience life as a movie theater, complete with four scheduled screenings of a just released movie entitled "Saving Faith." This movie premiered Jan. 28 and begins its run in local independent theaters across the country in February. The Blytheville Fire Department (BFD) has been quite active of late, with six calls during the past two weeks. On Thursday, Feb. 9, the BFD responded at 10:37 a.m. to a report of a structure fire in the 1100 block of Clark. After a lengthy and ever courageous battle with post-polio syndrome, Nina R. Beuttenmuller of Steele, Missouri passed away on the evening of Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the age of 68. Nina was stricken with polio at a very young age and as a result would eventually become a paraplegic. ...
