Firemen battle blaze in Yarbro (Local News ~ 12/10/16)
A two-story home in Yarbro caught fire around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, and firemen were still on the scene at 4:45 p.m. According to Fire Chief Mike Carney, the fire at 2942 State Highway 150 was fully involved, through the roof, when firemen arrived. Governor Asa Hutchinson held a news conference in the Governor's Conference Room Thursday to outline his upcoming education initiatives for the 2017 session of the 91st Arkansas General Assembly. Part of that plan includes the newly unveiled Arkansas Future Grant (ArFuture), which promises to pay full cost of tuition and fees at Arkansas community and technical colleges for Arkansas students enrolled in a "high demand field of study, such as computer science or welding."...
